Shown in the photo to the right are solid core brass 'Premier' stair rods from Stairrods (UK) and are the finest available anywhere in the world. They are made to measure and polished and lacquered to the highest standard.
Available in 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" diameters in polished brass, antique brass, black, chrome, satin nickel and pewter finishes.
